There is no doubt that Rift, as a subscription based title, has become one of the most successfully MMORPGs since its release earlier this year. Obviously, Trion Worlds boss Lars Buttler admitted that without modesty as he told Industry Gamers that “WoW basically had, for seven years, no competition” adding further “Rift is out there as the most serious competitor [WoW] ever had.”
